The Museum has served local and regional audiences by developing a permanent collection that surveys the history of art from antiquity to the present, by presenting outstanding special exhibitions from collections and museums around the world, and by providing widely acclaimed art classes and programs for families and children.

Annual giving provides an important foundation for daily learning and exploring that takes place at Joslyn Art Museum. Your unrestricted gift provides support for turning on the lights, opening the doors, and welcoming visitors daily. The annual fund supports all activities of the Museum from presenting special exhibitions and providing educational programs to preserving and growing our collection. Some examples of what the Annual Fund helps to support are:

• $1,250 – Care for the Collection, Museum, and Visitors – Cover the one-day utility costs of the magnificent building and collection.

• $500 – School Group Admission and Busing – Cover the cost of busing ($150 per bus), admission ($4 per student), and art-activity fees ($1 per student) for 70 students to visit the Museum.

• $100 - Ship an outreach trunk – Outreach trunks are available to schools and include many resources (books, videos, and trunk guides with teacher information) to strengthen students’ appreciation of art and connect the visual arts to classroom lessons on various subjects.
